Two fixing methods, one goal: zero movement
ISOFIX connects rigidly to the metal anchor points built into the car body, which makes installation forgiving and hard to get wrong. A seat belt installation fits almost any car, but demands more care with the belt routing and tension.
The three most common mistakes
- Leaving slack in the belt: pull the webbing tight so it cannot slide more than 2.5 cm forward or back.
- Turning forward too early: children in the 0–4 group should stay rear-facing until they reach the weight limit — it protects the neck far better in a frontal impact.
- Threading the wrong guide: every seat routes its belt differently, so check the manual step by step.
One thing to do when you're finished
Shake the seat firmly — the base should barely move. If you're unsure, visit a brand store for a free installation check.
